What is SONA?
Sona is a collectable card game developed by a husband and wife team. We wanted a game that was similar to Pokemon or Magic, but with a target audience of furries. We also noticed that those games were often too complex and difficult to play. So we set out to create a card game with an anthropomorphic aesthetic that was easy to get into.
We decided to feature not only local furry artists, but those from all around the world. We have card art in a variety of styles and skill levels. It is so much fun to let these artists have their own creative interpretation on how the art on the cards look. It creates such lovely variety.
With simple base mechanics similar to rock, paper, scissors, this game is easy enough for six year-olds to play! Yet complex enough for any age to enjoy. And with the starter set including 2 unique decks, it is easy to play with anyone you want. These cards are also designed with a mix and match play style in mind. So creating your own custom decks is super easy and fun as well!
